I don't think I have ever expressed myself publicly like I am about to. It a topic that has always I suppose, scared me? So bare with me, I may drone on or rabble.

I have always battled with my weight. It has left me with a sense of insecurity and I suppose in some way shape or form, it has stopped me from doing what I want to do. Not because my weight has prevented me but because mentally, the anxiety around my weight has. Recently my anxiety has reached it's new all time high.

Society has a way of being cruel to those that aren't 'perfect'. It has taken me years to realise that people aren't perfect and those in the glossy magazines that look perfect, are in fact made perfect through airbrushing etc. I have followed the blogging community for a few years now and jumped in and out of it myself. It is the bloggers out there that have shown me that we are all different, we have different shapes and we all have insecurities. No one is perfect.

The lesson I have learnt is that confidence comes from within, unless you love yourself you will never move forward. Don't let others dictate how you should live your life. Be you and be happy and the confidence will shine through without you even trying. Don't change yourself because society says you should. If being you means not being 'normal' then for go for it and be true to you. The world would be a boring if each and everyone of us looked a certain way, dress a certain way and acted a certain way.

The message I'm trying to get across to you guys is, that you are beautiful. Each and every single one of us is beautiful, don't let society tell you any different. Learn to love yourself. Don't let someone else opinion stop you from being you.
